From 14 to 16 of October in Necochea-Quequen, Argentina, 92 students and professionals from Turkey, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Austria, Portugal, United States, Argentina, Peru, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Venezuela and Brazil joined to attend the III Paleopathology Association Meeting in South America. 40 posters, 28 podium presentations, 16 works distributed in three symposiums and 6 conferences were held
After the closure of the meeting an interesting trip guided by the local archaeologists and bioarchaeologists took about 50 participants to visit the human and animal footprints left between 6,606 and 7,886 years BP along the beach at Monte Hermoso. Visiting the local musems and atending to the informal field talks of argentinian archaeologists who received us, we could learn more about Argentina and its past.
